Boats   

Tom at the Grapeview Point Boat Works has stretched the original plans for the 12-foot Ace resulting in a 13-foot runabout which is essentially the same as the Sande version.

The Antique and Classic Boat Society is a resource for restoring classic boats.  The ACBS Pacific Northwest Chapter has a question/answer forum.

The Northwest Classic Boat Club - founded in 2008 by boaters in the Pacific Northwest - has forums on several classic boat topics.  

Fiberglassics is a nationally known resource for the restoration of old fiberglass boats.  It has forums on wood and aluminum boats in addition to classic fiberglass boats.  They have recently remodeled their site so be sure to check the forum archives.

Lady Clipper plywood runabouts were built in Tacoma, Washington by the Sigler brothers in the 1950s.  With its double cockpit, it has been confused with the Sande Ace.  The link also contains pictures of the Mansfield boat, a Tacoma-built cousin of the Lady Clipper.


Old Mercury Outboards

John's Old Mercury Web Site is a superb resource with a question/answer forum and charts to identify old Mercury outboards from serial numbers.

Master Tech Marine has parts, manual pages and other advice for older Mercury outboards.

The iBoats website has a wide range of forums including one for Mercury motors which covers the entire range of years from the old ones to current models.

The Antique Outboard Motor Club (AOMCI) is dedicated to the preservation and restoration of antique outboards.  They post classified ads for buying and selling old outboard motors and parts.
